Awkward saturday night

Today was quite a busy day!
To make the long story short, I had an exam from 2 to 4 pm, after that from 8 to 10, I joined a wedding/registration party - a friend of Phinie is registering on next wednesday - and after that, we joined a few friends to a disco called the Poppy Garden … Out of the group I knew only two excluding my girlfriend.

That was really AWKWARD !

  • Because the group, about 7 people, was already in there!
  • Because when we arrived, they started right away to speak in Chinese!
  • Because the word Hello seem to not be part of their repertory!
  • Because we were at the corner of the bar where the traffic of consumers and waiters was intense!
  • … … …

Sometimes, I think I should avoid this kind of gathering, I don’t get any fun out of it!

After that thankfully, it got better!
First of all, we got a proper table where we could sit and closer to the dance floor!
And also a friend of mine pushed me towards the ‘new friends’ in order to introduce myself! SO DAMN AWKWARD I tell you! I felt really uneasy! But ok let’s forget about the manners, this somehow helped things to get better because we could somewhat call ourselves a group and dance together without having such feeling like “who’s that stranger!”

So starting from then, we had fun and I was not that bored anymore!

Sometimes I think that Phinie’s friends must find me so unpleasant… But for me, there are certain ways to do things and especially with people. Politeness and respect are 2 golden rules and you don’t ignore people like some people do.

“Hello” and “How are you?” are 2 very short sentences which when said improve grantly the feeling of the person who is being asked!

Whoever may read this post please learn from it!
